Is Extreme Happiness Or Sadness With Crying Signs Of Bipolar Disorder?

i think i may be suffering from bi polar. i know everyone has their bad and good days, but i either feel extremely happy or very unhappy. i broke up with my boyfriend of three years about two weeks ago, and since then i've been doing things i wouldnt usually do. For about a year, i cry most nights, i dont always know why. Does this sound like bi-polar?

Hello

To me it appears that you suffer from depression more than bipolar disorder.

However some details of symptoms will help me more to reach a conclusive diagnosis.
Do you feel excessively energetic?
Do you have racing thoughts?
How has your sleep and appetite been lately?
How has your mood been in last month mostly?
How frequent are your mood swings? Anger outbursts?

Please provide the details here. Else you can consult your nearest psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and treatment.

Thanks.
