Is Ear Surgery Recommended For A 7 Year Old?
My 7 year old son has a large perforation in his right ear. It is there now for the past 4 years. He gets ear infection twice in a ear or so. Doctor has asked for an immediate surgery. What should be done? His hearing is also ok.
Please help me to take a decision. He is performong mastoidectomy with thympanoplasty. Is this surgery safe for a child of this age?
