Is Duphaston Effective For Pregnancy?

hi i am 23 yrs old n i have pcos problem.its more than 1 year i got married n i want to conceive.i consulted a doctor n she prescrbd me with duphaston to be taken during 8th to 18th day of cycle for three mnths n she said that i could conceive during this three mnths.is it possible or along with duphaston other tablets should also be taken?

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Some patients have a mild progesterone deficiency and duphaston compensates for that and supports pregnancy if it happens spontaneously.
In my practice i advise follicular study with trigger injection for rupture of follicle in a planned manner along with duphaston.
Try this for 3 months and in case we dont succeed then switch to ovulation induction along with above treatment.
