Hello thanks for asking from HCM

The symptoms like waking up earlier than usual time, vivid nightmares, doing nothing in day, crying spells, irritability can occur due to some mood disorder or depression. Dizziness can also occur associated with such symptoms or can occur due to associated anxiety. I would advise you to visit a psychiatrist for evaluation of these symptoms and for confirmation of diagnosis.

For treatment of depression drugs like SSRIs and SNRIs are used. Commonly Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Sertraline, Venlafaxine etc are used. These drugs help to reduce the symptoms in about a couple of weeks. Visit a psychiatrist for prescription of drugs.

Apart from medicines non-medicinal treatment in form of cognitive therapy and behaviour therapy is also useful to improve symptoms.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
