Is Diastolic Pressure Different From End-diastolic Pressure?
Hi, I am a bit confused with some terminology...is diastolic pressure different to end-diastolic pressure? My understanding is that diastolic pressure refers only to the pressure in the aorta during ventricular relaxation whereas end-diastolic pressure refers to the pressure in the ventricles at the end of filling? Is this correct?

Diastole is the period of time when the heart relaxes and fills with blood after systole (contraction).
End diastolic pressure refers to pressure in the ventricles at the end of diastole usually measured in the left ventricle as an approximation of end diastolic volume.
Diastolic pressure is lowest pressure in the arterial blood system occurring during each heart beat.
