Is Diabetes The Reason For Neuropathy In Feet And Hands?

I have neuropathy in both feet and hands, the nuerologists I have visited want to blame it on diebeties but I have never had it. So they said well maybe I had been prediabetic for a long time but no longer was. Which answers nothing, leaving me very frustrated and still numb.

Thank you for the query.
Neuropathy in feets and hand may have various causes and one of the common cause is Diabetes.Have you checked your blood sugar level recently or not if not do bsl fasting and postprandial to confirm.
Other causes of neuropathy includes medicines,back problems,spine problem,some infections,alcoholism etc.
I consider your doctor has prescribed you some medicines for this,So do not be conscious about the cause your neurologist will treat it properly.
