Is it natural to feel depressed during pregnancy? I've been kinda depressed for the past couple months, but recently its gotten pretty bad. It seems like I cry all day everyday for no apparent reason and sometimes I cry so hard I start hyperventilating anywhere from 5-30 minutes. Is this harmful for the baby?
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Depression is not common in pregnancy, and it should be effectively treated whenever it appears in pregnancy. I suggest you to consult a psychiatrist for proper evaluation and treatment accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Regards Dr Deepti Verma
