Is Dark Spotting And Flutters In Lower Abdomen A Sign Of Pregnancy?
Hi. Ive been pregnant once befroe which resulted in a miscarriage at 5 months. Ive had a hormonal imbalance with irregular periods for most of my adult life. Im 23 now. Recently ive been almost obsessed with getting preg. and for over a year and a half, nothing. The first time i didnt have sensitive breasts or nipples. Now i had some dark spotting a few days ago but no period. I have been feeling flutters in my lower abdomen andi have been more tired than usual. Could i be pregnant? I am too nervous to take a test... And i have been bloated.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concern. If I were to treat you, I would first get a complete evaluation to know the cause of the irregular periods and hence treat it. The earlier miscarriage should have been evaluated to identify the cause and precautions taken to prevent recurrences in future. Your current symptoms suggest a breakthrough bleed due to some hormone imbalance. You need a trans-vaginal sonogram to confirm/exclude pregnancy and also to know the status of the pelvic organs. Hormone profile is needed if you are not pregnant. Please maintain a healthy weight and a healthy diet. Hope this helps.
