Is Damaged Shaft Of Penis From Vigourous Masturbation Serious?

I ripped my shaft open from masterbation. I put neosprin on it and it has helped, but now my shaft is starting to it h a lot. Is that normal. I damage the shaft a lot from rigorous masterbation. I was using nothing on my shaft so no lube. I think it was friction that caused cuts to open.
