Is Cramps Night Sweats A Side Effect Of Cephalexin?

I have had trouble sleeping but finally got some sleep last night. I had a fever of 103.4, leg cramps, night sweats, cough. Now I don t have a fever but I have a lung infection with chest pain. I was on cephalexin for a week and then went off it. I was working outside and definitely got overheated as well. Any ideas? At one point my toes were cramping as well but they are not any more. Could these be side effects from the antibiotics or pnemonia

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Cephalexin can cause cramps. However night sweats are due to infection (in your case lung infection).Lung tuberculosis needs to be ruled out as it is one of the common causes of night sweats.
You are having symptoms both due to infection as well as due to drug Cephalexin.
