Is Constant Vomiting With Cold And Congested Nose In A Child Be Due To Sinus Drainage?
I have a five year old daughter that had thrown up out of nowhere last night in the car. She hadn't eaten since breakfast at that time & had just drank water. She vomited again about. An hour later after drinking some juice. Again she woke up ok middle of night after drinking to throw up. This morning we gave her yogurt & after her second one she again vomited. The vomit was very funny looking but upon looking at it closer it looked very Michel filled. She does have a cold which has causedbher to be congested for months now, and she's not very compliant with blowing her nose. Since she has no fever and acts fine afterward (she just started saying her stomach hurts alittle but I imagine throwing everything you eat up will do that) even wants to eat after vomiting...does it sound like it might be caused by sinus drainage & what can I do to help her hold food down? Thank you
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It not a good practice to wait for so long in case of children vomiting. Immediately after 2 vomiting should be taken to the doctor. It may be due to the cold, fever, indigetion, or what ever it may be . I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms domperidone, cifixime, phenylpropolamine hydrochloride, and citrizine. Give her more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
