Is Conception Possible Despite Taking Novelon?
Hi doc.I am have irregular period n my gyne advice me to take novelon for three cycles I did for one cycle n I got my period on 9th Aug then again I started taking in novelon . but from past few days I have stopped takin those pills when I came to know it s a contraceptive pill coz I wanted to conceive too. So plz advice me what to do and if pregnancy is possible while take these pills? My gyne has advice to start again from next month when I ll get my period. She has given me ovares too.

Hello,
I would also suggest that you continue the medication for 3 months because these pills although are oral contraceptives, they also help in regularizing your cycles. No you will not conceive when you are taking these medicines but,once your cycles have regularized and you have stopped these pills, it will be more helpful and easier for you to conceive.
