Is Chronic Nausea Normal During Pregnancy?

I am in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, and for the last 24 hrs I have been vomitting, nauseas, have severe upper abdominal pain (that comes and goes) and diarreha. I have finally stopped throwing up but I still have the other symptoms.. I have managed to hold down a tiny bit of food.

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
I don't think you can take this as a normal symptom of pregnancy. In pregnancy nausea & vomiting occurs usually during 1st trimester and is not associated with abdominal pain & vomiting.
You should see a Physician as early as possible, as during third trimester dehydration can deteriorate your condition very quickly. Take ORS and fluids & report this to your Obstetrician as well.
Wish you good health.
Take care.
