Is Chest Tightness A Sign Of Anxiety?

I ve been feeling chest tightness and goes to my back my left arm sometime like under my breast bone by my rib cage. Sometime it hurts when taking a deep breath feeling tired or sick. My Dr said anxiety or panic disorder do you suggest anything else

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. It is better to rule out cardiac cause by doing an ECG and stress test if required. If that is clear then it can be most likely due anxiety. You can do breathing exercises to get relief from anxiety. Sit relaxed and take deep breaths. You can do a couple of times daily. Taking a short course of anxiolytics or low dose btablockers also will be helpful. A counselling with psychologist also will be better.
