Is Chest Pain At Night In A Child Serious?
My 5 year old son has complained of chest pain the last two nights right before bed. Last night he also said his heart was beating too fast, and I timed his heart rate at 93 bpm. His heart rate seemed normal tonight. He has had chest pain before, infrequently. A few years ago we did take him to emergency twice due to croup, but is otherwise healthy. Should I be worried? He is not a complainer so I know it is not trivial.

how was the nature of the chest pain? It can occur because of gastritis or gastroesophageal reflux if it is burning in nature.Also if the child has chronic cough then such pain can occur. Did he have any history of recent fall or trauma?kindly provide the details?
