I have stomach cancer metastised to peritoneum. had ECX chemo & no longer have a tumour although after laparoscopy & biopsy active cells still apparent in stomach & peritoneum.

hi dear.
you had a good response to chemotherapy, but as your biopsy still shows tumor inside, you should continue with 2 more cycles of chemotherapy or some form of metronomic chemotherapy. otherwise the viable tumor cells inside will start growing with time.
