Should I be concerned with gliosis as a contact lense wearer for 26 yrs? I have only had one exam that brought it to my attention, and that was 5 yrs. ago. Now I'm finding that my vision is changing with every exam and i have never disclosed this condition to any of my opthalmologists. How do they not see it?
Hello It seems from the history that you are having refractive error and you are wearing contact lenses for 26 years. The change in vision is because of change in the refractive index of the lens as happens normally with ageing and with onset of cataract. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
