General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern.
Discontinuing Xarelto prior to these procedures reduces the chances for increased bleeding.
On the other hand, you have A fib, which has an increased tendency to cause blood clots.
Ultimately, taking a leap of faith and weighing risks and priorities is what you will have to do.
For peace of mind, please discuss this with your cardiologist.

I hope this helps.
Wishing you all the best.
