Is Candida Infection Common In Girls ?

i am 22 presently few months back i had swelling in kidney due to bacterial infection and my creatinine level rised to 2.5 but now after recovery my abdomen appears to be distended girls comment on me as that i look pregnant .i feel ashamed even relatives have commented on it . every time when i take meals. i have to go to toilet .i feel i am not able to digest food .why is it so???? also when i had kidney problem then during urine culture i came to know that i had cndida infection .is it common in every girl

Hi well come to HCM.
Looking to your complain it may be due to gaseous distension which might be drugs
you have taken related, nothing to worry about it, will go over a period of time.
But since the distension is noticeble to even relatives and others it could be quite
large, so better to rule ot ascitis{fluid collection in abdomen peritoneal cacity]. Since
you had kidney problem and report showed impaired function. Sonography of abdomen
will help you to rule out it. Candida infection is fungal infection need not worry treatable
cause. Thanks
