hi recently had a medical abortion last week on friday. Today i have no cramping but i do however have a little burning sensation on my lower left abdomen i took my antibiotics azithromycin which was only 4 pills 250 mg so i was wondering if it is something i should worry about?
Hi! If abortion is completed and you haven't no other symptoms except burning sensation ,there is nothing to worry.
It is important for you to have a follow-up visit 1-3 weeks after the abortion to verify the expulsion of the pregnancy discuss your contraception.
Consequently, most women will have an ovulation 2-3 weeks after the abortion and the next menstruation in 4-5 weeks. After a medical abortion, the next menstruation may be a bit heavier than a normal menstruation.
