Hi,
As per your symptoms, it appears as though you are suffering from vaginitis. The itching and the burning sensation in addition to the yellow colored discharge indicate this. In the current scenario, you should see a specialist and get a clinical exam, a vaginal swab, urinalysis and blood counts. Your partner also needs to be treated. Please abstain from intercourse until you have relief from the infection. Birth control pills do not have anything to do with this condition. Please maintain genital hygiene. Hope this helps.
