Is Blood Sugar Reading 295 On Bayer Contour Monitor Normal?
Hi I just checked my blood sugar on a bayer contour monitor and it read 295. In the last 2 months I ve lost 30 pounds, frequent urination every hour at times and my vision has worsen. I see my doctor in a couple days I have all the symptoms or diabetes but now worried is 295 high?

in my opinion basing on your symptoms and blood sugar reading its mandatory to have thorough check up with parameters like
1.fasting blood sugar
2.Hba1c%
3.post prandial blood sugar
Any patient visiting to my clinic with similar complaints its worth ruling out Diabetes.
The blood sugar 295 is slightly high and need to be evaluated with proper investigation
