Is Blood Pressure Of 168/93 Dangerous For 53 Year Old?
I have been monitoring my blood pressure and the average reading is 168/93 pulse 64. This is an increase since last year when it was 148/80. Is this a danger for me - I am a 53 year old women, not overweight but have a desk job and don't get much exercise. I eat well and get lots of rest. Thanks for your help.

Hi, your blood pressure is too high. Of course it's dangerous. because many complications may occurs with this high blood pressure. Cardiac or cerebral events can occur with this blood pressure. You should consult your physician and start anti hypertension medication.also take salt restricted diet and do regular exercise.
