Is Bleeding Normal After Colonoscopy?

Is it normal, after my colonoscopy procedure by next day I went to work. I farted and I felt a little wet my underwear. So went to restroom.. A very little blood came out and a dot of pooh outer part stick on the blood. When I got home and check my underwear. The blood is gone.

Hello,
Thank you for using HCM.
Yes it can occur a little bleeding after colonoscopy , due to the scratching of the intestine walls from the scope or due to removal of abnormal looking tissue (while taking biopsy), or due to polyps removal.
If the bleeding will go on, and the quantity will increase, then you should see a gastroenterologist. If you experience: severe abdominal pain, fever, bloody bowel movements, dizziness and weakness, again you should see a gastroenterologist. Otherwise there is nothing to be worried.
Avoid drinking alcohol. Avoid taking aspirin.
Avoid hard activities for at least 24 hours.
