Is Bleeding Followed By Spotting Normal Post Intake Of Cytotec Pills?

I am 6weeks pregnant and took 4 cytotec pills (under the tongue) and repeated two more time after two hour gaps. Cramping n bleeding happened but stopped in 6hours. I retried two days later but only spotting has happened n not much cramps. Am I still pregnant, what shall I do?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The best and safest way for abortion yourself until the 12th week of pregnancy is with the use of two medicines called Mifepristone and Misoprostol.
If you have used only one drug cytotec (Misoprostol) for abortion, then it could be incomplete, as per the description you have given.
Hence to know about your pregnancy status, get an ultrasound scan done.
If there are contents of conception still remaining inside the uterus, it needs to be managed by drugs and may be by dilatation and curettage (D & C). Kindly take help from Gynecologist in this regard for proper management.
