Is Bleeding After Unprotected Intercourse Due To Implantation Bleeding Or Postinor-2?

hi i am 24 and i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 28th February and 1st march which was the day after. i took postinor 2 two days later which was 3rd march and i started to bleed not heavy though on the 8th march. my last period began on the 21st of February and ended 3 days later. what does it mean please? is it implantation blood or it means the drug has worked. i have used postinor 2 before but i never experienced this symptom. thank you

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) As you have rightly taken emergency contraceptive pill within 24 to 72 hours of unprotected sex act, you have very good chances of preventing the pregnancy.

3 ) The implantation bleeding occurs in some women on 7 to 9 days after conception.

In your case, it is mostly due to emergency contraceptive pills . With these pills the withdrawal bleeding is a bit eratic. It can be early or late, and it can be Scanty or heavy.
