My lMP was on 14-05-11, two days before we took preg test at home, and the test was +ve. Same day we meet a Gynac..doctor and she prescribed some medicine and the day after that i got little bleeding, i consulted the doctor again and she given me a injection and asked me to go for sonography. The sonography report says: A single live intrauterine gestation of 6 weeks 3 days. I am scared because of the bleeding. Please advice
Hello! I would really like to not feel anxious because that doesn't help. The ultrasound examination is very clear, except you bleeding, the pregnancy is viable and evolutive. Any form of hemorrhage or pain is indicative of threatened muscarriage. The injection you have taken may have been progesteron because that hormon helps pregnancy. If I were you doctor I would recommend you taking progesteron and spasmolitic and to stay relaxed. If bleeding is dark, then you should not panic but stay calm and use the medication that your doctor has prescribed. Take care. Dr. Thano
