welcome to Health care magic.
1.Yes biopsy needed in any case of reoccurrence of the mass lesion.
2.To confirm reoccurrence of the fibro-adenoma or new growth.
3.And helps to rule out the presence of malignancy / cancer.
4.If you are my patient i would have examined the lump and send for the ultrasound and mammogram in presence of micro calcification - presence of finding / requirement. FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology / BIOPSY will be ordered.
5.Treatment of choice will be excision depending on extensions.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
