Is Baby Food Supplement Good For Infant To Increase Body Weight?

Dear Sir,
My baby is 15 days old and his weight is not improving. At the time of his birth his weight was 2.42 Kg where as now it is only 1.85 kg. I am thinking that his mother milk is not sufficient. So shall i give any baby food substitute along with mother milk. If so , what is the name of the baby product.

One of the contributing factor of weight loss is that during first ten days of life, the baby looses 10%of the birth weight and after which the baby starts gaining weight.
If the baby is adequately sleeping(1-2 hours ) after breast feeding its unlikely that breast milk is inadequate.
Would advise to see your Pediatrician and do not attempt to introduce feeds on your own.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
