Is Asymptomatic Pregnancy A Cause For Concern?

I am 9 weeks pregnant. I have barely had symptoms the whole pregnancy. An early ultrasound has confirmed intrauterine gestation with normal heartbeat. I am worried about my lack of symptoms though. Can this be normal? There is nothing on the Internet to suggest anyone has asymptomatic pregnancy.

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
An asymptomatic pregnancy is not a cause for concern if the ultrasound & other tests are normal. Normally a woman does have symptoms of pregnancy ( like nausea, morning sickness, breast tenderness, increased hunger etc) in first trimester of pregnancy.
But the absence of these symptoms does not indicate some problem in you. There have been cases in which a woman was not aware of her pregnancy (had no symptoms of pregnancy) until 5-6 months when her belly starts looking like pregnant. Therefore you should not be much worried about absence of pregnancy symptoms in you.

Refer to your gynecologist
Don't worry you should be fine
Hope this information helps
