Is Angiogram Needed When Diagnosed With Mild Positive In TMT Test?
My father is 65 years old and still working as an engine fitter in merchant navy.He is taking daily a concor5 for the past 4 years for pressure.before tat someother tablet. He is not a very high pressure patient.since he is a working man he has to be under control.Sometimes during his medical test there is a slight variation In his ECG.He also do a TMT test for a continuous12 to 20 mins.and it will be mild postive, and in the ECHO test he is completely normal.should we do a angiogram test.is it necessary. Because my father says it is not at all necessary. he do cycling most of the days as an exercise.
To know whether or not an angiogram result is needed, it is important to know the wording in the conclusion of the TMT test. Mild positive does not give enough information to act on.
Kindly write the full conclusion of the TMT so that I can better advise you.
Take care.
