Is Aneurysm Related To Migraines?

My husband had several episodes of interoccural migraines. Last year , at age 62, he died suddenly and instantly. His blood pressure, cholesterol, weight was all good. No autopsy was done because they assumed it was a heart attack. Am wondering if he could have had an aneurysm and could that be related to the migraines?

Hello!
I understand your concern.
It is true that aneurysm can cause migraine like headaches. They occur always in the same half of the head.
But when an aneurysm ruptures it causes specific signs in the neurological examination. If he was still alive in the hospital the doctors would have noticed neck stiffness or pupilary signs.
A heart attack also can occur in a healthy person , maybe a genetic factor or stress.
So without an autopsy we can not rule out any of there possibilities.
Hope to have been of help!
Best wishes!
