Is An Eye Infection Possible After Contact With Dirty Water?
I was cleaning mouse feces, urine and blood from my from my friends basement. We were using bleach diluted in water with a Mr. Clean type cleaner. I splashed the dirty water in my eye. It did not hurt. I flushed it and put Visine type drops in. Will I contract some disease from the dirty water? Pretty gross, I know, but I am wondering if the horrible germs or disease could be active and will make me ill. I'm concerned

infection is posible and now you should clean your eye with fresh water. get your eye examined by eye doctor for examination and to exclude any sign of infection visine type drop is not requered antibiotic eye drop like ofloxacin .3% can be applied 6 hourly. follow up examination for further signs and symptoms can be done and accordingly eye drop can be changed
