Is An Enlarged Vein On Left-sided Forehead A Concern?
Hello. My 93 year old mom has suddenly gotten enlarged veins on the left side of her forehead. She says she has a head ache and I just gave her a baby aspirin. Is this something that needs immediate attention (ER) or should I just watch it for awhile? Will the veins eventually go down or should I apply ice to the area?

hii...its normal in this age beacuse soft tissue support is decrease with age..
so vein is visible promiment.
my advise to have ESR test for any inflammatory work up..
if it is in normal range then dont worry..its absolutely normal..
is not then have to consult doctor..
