Is An Anesthesia Required Before A Hysteroscopy?

Hello i have been scheduled for a hysteroscopy along with a endometrial sampling. i am 52 years old and currently taking Tamoxifen for my breast cancer history. My doctor is going to perform the hysteroscopy in his office and he says there is no anesthesia required for this. what is the pain associated with this hysteroscopy with the endometrial sampling/biopsy procedure?

Hi I think it can be done without anaesthesia also. There can be a little pain but you may be given some pain killer injection for that. Don't worry about it. It is a day care procedure. Hope it helps.
