Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hii

Yes alcohol addiction and its withdrawal lead to disturbances in sleep.

So it is necessary to take medicine which help on same receptor with same mechanism that alcohol did.

Tab.lorazepam 2 mg at night will help to sleep properly as well as treat withdrawal from alcohol.

You need supplement of thiamine vitamin along with lorazepam.

I prefer both in my patient. dose usually depend upon alcohol intake.
If required then consult psychiatrist.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
