Is Adenoids In A Baby After Being Treated For Rhinorrhea A Matter Of Concern?

my baby is 9months old
weight is 11
height is moderate
she complained from nasal rhinorea and crop the pediatric doctor gave her antiboitics ,local decongestants,local and systemic corticosteroids and anti histaminics
then after recovery she complained from her ears the er doctor gave her antibiotics ,antihistaminics and local decongestant
and told me she complain from adenoids
i want to know is those symptoms are dagerous and may affect her and shall she make surgery in this age

Hi...adenoidal size increase or hypertrophy is quite common in this age group. By what you quote she seems to be having mild upper airway resistance. Unless she is having daily noisy breathing and multiple sleep disturbances at night, which are making her sleepy in the morning and she is very very obese - I do not suggest surgery at this age group. Even if the above symptoms are present I would first try a steroids nasal spray before going ahead with surgery.
