Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain a white patch in mouth is not always a signal of cancer..
It can be
Frictional Keratosis caused due to cheek bite and appears as a white patch.
Frictional Keratosis can also occur due to rubbing of sharp edges of teeth against the cheeks.
It can also be due to any trauma to the cheek mucosa by extraction instrument during extraction..
It can be due to
fungal infection known as Thrush..
In case of
tobacco chewing habit it can be
Leukoplakia which is a pre cancerous condition but it is not cancer and can be treated..
I would suggest you to
consult a dentist and get evaluated and to confirm the diagnosis a biopsy of the patch can be done if required..
In case of Frictional keratosis removal of the cause like smoothening of the sharp edges of tooth, avoiding cheek bite habit (if you have) by wearing mouth guards can help in resolving of the patch..
In case of fungal infection anti fungal medicines and mouthwashes can help..
In case of leukoplakia removal of the cause like tobacco chewing habit and taking antioxidants like lycopene and multivitamins can help..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
