Is A Resting Heart Rate Of 90 A Cause For Concern?
I am 54yr old women with a resting heart-rate of 90. I work out 4 to 5xs a week have for 4yrs my dad died at age 38 from a heart attack and my brother had a 5 way bypass at 39 should I be concerned of this high resting heart beat? I do have great low blood pressure. Thank You.
Hi, Welcome. This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist. Resting heart rate of 90 is absolutely normal & you need not to worry about it. But you need to worry about the strong family history of coronary heart disease & should do the necessary tests
