Is A Pulse Rate Between 9 And 13 While Having CAD Dangerous?
Yes OK I have coronary artery disease I have six stents.just because your tropinin level comes back fine does it mean that everything is fine for sure.because my heart monitor is saying RR low my pulse is from anywhere from 9 to 13 its been that way since ten tonight.but this hospital at saying its fine
Hi thanks for your question. RR stands for respiratory rate, and if monitor is showing low,it is not of any significance,as monitor can show wrong reading. However pulse rate of 9 to 13 is not possible at all.one cannot live with pulse rate between 9 to 13 what I thing is your wronly reading the monitor parameters.Your pulse rate may be low and RR rate may between 9 to 13,that is why your hospital staff is telling you it's ok.The second reason could be that monitor lead placement is wrong or monitor is showing wrong reading which could be due to many reasons. Hope this answers your question.
