Is A New Ct Scan Needed After Breakfast Followed By A Ct Scan?
My aunt had a ct scan on her abdominal area a week ago. The doctor has asked her not to eat anything six hours before it but she forgot to follow this order and she had her normal breakfast before she went to scan. Her ct scan results show a mass in the bowel. Does she need to have a new ct scan on an empty stomach

You didn't mentioned whether contrast CT Scan has been done or not.
If contrast study is not done then definitely she need complete study with oral and intravenous contrast.
Contrast study is needed for proper diagnosis and management.
Breakfast will not hinder in interpreting findings of intestinal mass.If contrast study has been already done then she don't require further study.
