Is A Needle Prick Injury A Cause For Concern?

Hi, My question is regarding my husband. He basically has a name tag which fell down into his apron and when my husband rested his arms on his legs the needle went inside his arm. Is it dangerous? Should I get a doctor s appointment for him? Or is it fine? Thanks Jasmin
