Is A Lump On Spine Of Scapula With Tensed Neck And Shoulder A Cause For Concern?

hi, i have a lump on the spine of my scapula. sometimes it can be quite tender. i suffer with terrible tension in my neck and around my shoulder blade etc. (generally around that area). Could this lump be the cause of my pain, should i get the lump checked by a Dr?

Hi, If I were your treating Doctor for this case of a back lump, I would come up with only one and one possibility that is a chronically infected sebaceous cyst! Nothing to worry about this and try not to get infected there!

I suggest you to go for an FNAC test of the lump for confirmation and to relieve your concerns!

It is possible that the lump is responsible for the pain.

It would be best to visit your doctor for an assessment to be done.

If it is the source of pain then you may need to consider surgical removal.
