Is A Heart Rate Of 117 On A Sonogram A Cause For Concern?

I'm measuring 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Today I went to get a sonogram and the heart rate was 117 and baby low and I don't have morning sickness this time around. I'm scared and the doctor said he wants to repeat an ultra sound next week. Should i be worried? Is that a low heart rate?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Heart sounds 120- 190 are normal limit of heart rate of fetus,I don't think it needs much concern.
Morning sickness severity depend on bearing capacity of mother. Some women can stand the raised levels of pregnancy hormones & so they don't have morning sickness.
Low position of baby with no signs of contractions/ bleeding do not matter at such an early stage.
Show the report/ film to your gynecologist For any specific medicines required.
Please don't worry, let the sonologist get his doubts solved-avoid physical & psychological stress & repeat the scan after one week.
