while wrapping christmas gifts I accidently fell asleep with a halls cough drop in my mouth... I swallowed and immediately woke up... I feel it's stuck in my trachea ... should I be concerned? will it eventually dissolve or should I go to the emergency room. (I am not choking nor having difficulty breathing)
As per your query you have feeling of cough tablet struck in your throat . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like tonsillitis , diverticula or sore throat . Sometimes there is no actual thing struck in throat but sharp edge of thing like tablet irritate the lining of throat , which appear to us as something struck in throat .
