Is A Boil Along With White Dots On The Clitoris A Symptom Of STD?

Well, This may be TMI but rcently I found a boil on the side of my clitoris, I have had been tested for STDs , HIV, Herpes , and HPv. My test results came out negative. The boil doesn t hurt and it s slightly big. I recently took 1 metronidazole 500mg and a warm compress, and the boil decreased slightly but it s still there. I also have very small white dots on the side of my lips there some what similar to heat bumps. What could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Boils can occur on any area of the skin including the vaginal area due to the presence of hair follicles in this area as well.

Using 1 tablet of metronidazole would not necessarily have an effect, this is not a treatment dose for any illness.

You can try cleaning the area with anti septic solution and applying a topical antibiotic twice daily as well.
Magnesium sulphate cream encourages collections of pus to drain so you can try this as well.

I hope this helps
