Is Urimax 4mg Effective Medication For Puss Cells In The Urine?

My wife has pus cells in urine. She had tried with doxy 100 mg for 2 times a day of total 14 days course. After 10 days completion of the course She has again feeling uncomfortable when passing urine. We have done Ultrasound KUB Xray & urine Culture. All reports are O key except Urine routine analysis where plenty of pus cells are found. Now She is prescribed with Urimax .4 Mg. Please help

Hello. Thank you for using HCM for your query. There is some problem with medicine taking here. I dont think doctor prescribed urimax to your wife. Tamsulosin is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.Your wife doesnt have prostatic gland. Dont use it anymore. Since doxacycline is not effective she has to take an antibiotic that is recommended by antibiogramme results. Best Regards Dr Xhufka.
