Is Tylenol The Right Medicine For Fever And Headache In A Child?
I have a 5 year old has low grade temp x3 days wants to just lay around ,has complained of a headache a couple times.I have been giving childrens Tylenol as needed if temp over 101 or if she says she has a headache.Should I be concerned.Temp has been over 101 only 2x in the 3 days.Goes away within 1 hour of giving Tylenol.No other symptoms

Actually, acetaminophen (tylenol) is the right medicine for treating fever and headache in children.You do not have to be concerned, because it probably indicates a common cold, but nothing more serious than that. If the symptoms continue more than 10 days, than it will be taken in consideration to continue an alternative medication, such as antibiotic.
I would recommend you to use it in appropriate doses based on the child's weight and to encourage your daughter to drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.
