Is Tramadol A Blood Thinner?

Hi - I had a bad fall last night - the injury to my head bled profusely and I think i fractured my wrist. I have some Tramadol but if it is a blood thinner - I don t want to take it due to the bleeding that how now stopped. Is Tramadol a blood thinner? Thank you Linda

Hello Linda,

Tramadol is a type of analgesic given for mid to moderate pain. It doesn't have an effect as a blood thinner and it doesn't interfere with the coagulation.
