MU HUSBAND HAS JUST HAD HEART CATH. EF 15% BUT NO BLOCKAGE. 20 YR OLD STENTS GOOD. DOPPLERED LEGS AND FLOW WAS GREAT. HE IS OVER WEIGHT AND SITS FOR 12/14 HOURS PER DAY AT HIS JOB. MY QUESTION IS IF HE DOES CARDIAC REHAB AND LOSES WEIGHT, TAKES THE MEDS GIVEN BY MD AFTER HEART CATH ( TOPOROL XL, ALDACTONE, ASA 81MG) CAN HIS EF GET BETTER?

EF generally will not improve much after these medicine but it will halt the further fall of ejection fraction. So he should have these if blood pressure is not very low.
Otherwise healthy lifestyle and fluid restriction is important.
